The first blowfly and the first pallet

We had our first blowfly of Spring last week and this week the first palette of ‘Christmas’ books. Not keen on the blowfly but delighted with the fantastic books which are now flooding into the shop. My current favourite is ‘The One Hundred Year-old Man Who Climbed Out The Window and Disappeared’ which I loved. It is great entertainment with lots of humour and humanity – now Sue is reading it in bed and keeping me awake with her laughter!

I’m now awaiting many more great books but also the first cicada (love them) and the first early morning koel (not so keen on them!).
