We Love Local Authors!

Here in Balmain we are lucky to have lots and lots of wonderful and talented local authors. There are far too many to list in one blog post but here are a few who have recently released books we love:

Stephanie Dowrick has been writing excellent books for a number of years and her latest, Everyday Kindness, has made regular appearances on our weekly bestseller list since it was published late last year.

Kirsten Tranter’s second novel, A Common Loss, is a thoughtful, quietly atmospheric read and I really loved it. It is the type of book that you keep thinking about long after you have finished reading it.

And finally, The Tunnels of Tarcoola by Jennifer Walsh is currently taking pride of place in our Junior Fiction section. Not only is it written by a Balmain resident, but it is set in Balmain too- pretty cool!

Watch this space for info and updates on new books being written and published by local talent!
