One of my favourite and most frequently used cookbooks of all time is “Moro East” by Sam and Sam Clark. It is a real treasure of a book which has become my Impress The Guests at a Dinner Party secret weapon. Because the recipes are clear and simple in method, I’ve been inspired to use many ingredients for the first time ( okra, pomegranates, lentils) with fantastic results.
The best thing about my copy of “Moro East” is that the spine is cracked from multiple use so that it opens onto the recipe for Hassan’s Cracked Potatoes and Coriander. Unfortunately a new copy doesn’t come with function but you can easily program it yourself!
