One of the most common topics of conversation among Brays staff (apart from books of course) is food! Naturally, cookbooks are perfect conversational fodder and we love to talk about recipes and books we’ve discovered. Several of us own or covet Yotam Ottolengnghi’s Plenty, and almost every week we discuss which recipes we have cooked from it. It is a vegetarian cookbook written by a non-vegetarian; aimed just as much at meatlovers who are after a little variety as at vegetarians. Some of our favourites include: Caramelized fennel with goat’s curd, Fried butterbeans with feta, sorrel and sumac, and Chickpea, tomato and bread soup. Yum yum!
