As promised, here are a few words on some more fabulous local authors…
We were delighted to receive a visit from Ned Manning this week; a long time Balmain resident who now lives in Melbourne. Ned has just published his memoir: Playground Duty, and dropped by to sign some copies for us. Any of you who were his students might want to check to see if you are mentioned!
Michelle Bridges – surely Balmain’s healthiest resident – latest book, No Excuses Cookbook, was published earlier this year. It focuses on using good quality, fresh ingredients and portion control to produce meals that are healthy and satisfying.
Rounding up our trio of local authors today is Carole Hungerford. Carole’s book Good Health In The 21st Century was first published in 2006. It has been a continuous seller since that time, and the third edition has just been released. As we are delightedly seeing in many instances, the price for this book has been considerably reduced and now retails for $29.95.
