Dear Nellie O’Toole was our landlady when we first opened Brays Books back in 1969. I’ve been reminded of her a lot lately as at least every second day she would say, “I’ve never known weather like it”. She would have been in her element recently!
I have kept a studio photograph of Nellie taken when she was a 16 year old beauty, so she still has a presence here at 268 Darling Street.
Can we see the photo??
